What are the possible Laser Tattoo Removal Side Effects? Normally, there are few if any side effects of tattoo removal by lasers. The skin has been agitated, and therefore it is sensitive.

Although it is very rare, tattoo removal by lasers does put the area at risk for a skin infection. Some side effects also can include scarring, and problems with pigmentation. This would leave the area that has been treated either darker, or lighter, that the surrounding skin. Remember, these are rare, but do ask your doctor about the risks involved before you seek treatment. Tattoo removal by lasers is safe, but do talk to your doctor concerning these potential risks.
